Introduction to Scientific Computing

The Introduction to Scientific Computing course covers the skills needed for effective data management and analysis using Linux and Python. The course is designed for the needs of PhD students and early career researchers in atmospheric and environmental science. The training is suitable for those with no previous experience in either Linux or Python as well as those who have used them a little and wish to improve their skills. The five day course consists of a mixture of presentations and many practical exercises to give hands on experience of the topics covered.
The course will take place from November 19-23 2018 at the NCAS Training Facility, University of Leeds
Arrival and Registration for the course will be 10.00-10.30 on Monday November 19 with the course due to start at 10.30 prompt. You should plan your travel arrangements to ensure that you arrive in good time. All students are expected to attend all aspects of the ISC Course programme from 10.00am, Monday November 19 until 16.00 Friday November 23 2018.
