A summer of science - ASC 2019
This year the UK Atmospheric Science Conference is at the University of Birmingham, hosted jointly by NCAS and the Royal Meteorological Society.
Atmospheric science has never been more relevant to society. The ASC aims to showcase the latest developments across the breadth of the field, in a way that demonstrates how disciplines are coming together and working towards understanding changes in our atmosphere and how they affect the world we live in.
The latest conference programme is available to view now. You can also download the full list of speaker biographies and the view the oral abstracts.
It is therefore very fitting that the conference is taking place this year at the University of Birmingham, an institution which is helping to find solutions to climate change and air pollution.
The ASC provides a unique opportunity to bring together research scientists and operational meteorologists to exchange knowledge and ideas in the fields of air quality, climate and weather.
