Every year NCAS produces science highlights. These highlights come from all aspects of NCAS science, including climate, chemistry and weather, but also include highlights from the organisation and management of NCAS.  These highlights are submitted to NERC (Natural Environmental Research Council) for the NCAS end of year report.

Note: These highlights are compiled and written by NCAS Knowledge Transfer and Communications manager, Dr Louisa Watts, with the relevant scientists. They include our top science and organisational achievements which are submitted to the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), our main funder, for end-of-year reporting. All of them appear in the NCAS Annual Report. Some have also been picked for the NERC Annual Report.
