Today

No flight. Currently awaiting next low pressure system.

Tomorrow

Flight scheduled for 1200 takeoff north of Ireland, measuring air-sea fluxes in high winds south of cyclone centre. This will be similar to last Saturday's flight but in a much colder airmass, giving larger air-sea temperature contrast and hence more convection and enhanced fluxes.

Sunday

Possible flight exploring any developing frontal waves to the south of the UK. Reading are putting together ideas for a flight plan for discussion at tomorrow's teleconference.

Monday

North-westerly air stream potentially bringing polar-low type systems north-west of Scotland which will be monitored. Also possibility of another fluxes flight.
