April 2012 - Prove it Video Competition Winners

P1010198

The results are in! NCAS's Dr Sarah Moller and Dr Felicity Perry's entry to the British Science Association Prove it competition has been judged by a panel of experts, and their entry – 'spreading the dirt' was named the winner. The public vote put their entry into the top 5 videos, and the expert panel judged that the video was the best in the over 16's category.

The competition was part of the British Science Association's National Science & Engineering Week 2012, and the remit of the competition was to create a video to describe something about 'Our World in Motion' in 30 seconds. The NCAS team attempted to explain the global nature of air pollution using stop motion and bits of cardboard (recycled of course!).

Thanks to everyone who voted. The winning entry can be viewed on the NSEW You Tube channel. Watch this space for more videos explaining NCAS science and atmospheric phenomena!
