Second Clearflo IOP underway PDF Print E-mail
Written by Jim Hopkins

The second intensive operating period (IOP) of the Clearflo campaign is well under way at a temporary site in North Kensington, London, UK. A full suite of gas phase and aerosol composition measurements are being made along with a number of meteorological measurements. The first IOP took place in January-February 2012 and together they will give important insight to seasonality in urban emissions and photochemistry.  Concurrent flights (aboard the FAAM146 and NERC Dornier aircraft) above the London area will provide useful information about the vertical extent of the urban emissions.

For more information about the Clearflo project, including the IOPs, visit the Clearflo website. You can keep track of events at the Clearflo campaign through the Clearflo blog
