Coordinator: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it The FGAM mobile facility is available for use in field campaigns. The instruments are divided into three broad categories of: meteorology and dynamics; aerosol; and gas phase measurements. The entire facility can be requested, as can any groups of instruments or individual instruments. Instruments are regularly calibrated and, where appropriate, have taken part in coordinated inter-calibration exercises (see our Laboratory and Calibration studies webpages) ensuring high quality data. The instruments are readily deployable, enabling observations around the globe. They are designed to run during short ground-based measurement intensives which aim to address a specific atmospheric question and advance our understanding of specific atmospheric processes. However, several instruments require minimal user intervention and can be run for longer periods, and have been used to provide additional measurements at the Observatories. Several instruments may also be used to make airborne observations.
