Campaign acronym:  CONCAWE

Description: 

CONCAWE (Conservation of Clean Air and Water in Europe) supports research on environmental issues relevant to the oil industry. This project concerns the use of off-site concentration and wind measurements to quantify losses from process plant.

Set up representative configurations of oil storage facilities and conduct a number of detailed floa and dispersion experiments. Use results to develop protocol for site field surveys and to assess value of inverse models for source term determination. Continuation of work originally conducted for ICI and then Sandia.
